Creative Music and Audio is the home for the professional music work I do. Whether it’s recording and mixing, songwriting and producing, here you will learn more about me, the work I’ve done, and the work I’m currently involved in.

To talk a little about myself, I am a Freelance Audio Engineer, whose experience in the industry makes me extremely qualified to provide a myriad of music related services.

Since 2000, I have worked primarily at Orange Music Sound Studio, which is the recording studio of producer Bill Laswell. In my time there, I have worked on albums by such artists as Herbie Hancock, TS Monk, Matisyahu, John Zorn, Angelique Kidjo, Buckethead, Gigi, Adam Rudolph, and Lee Scratch Perry.

In recent years, I have also been hired by up producer Jon Leidersdorff, at his Lakehouse Music Studio. There I’ve recorded and mixed for upcoming artists like Sally Boyd and Alex Brumel. I also have recorded, mixed and mastered several releases for Philadelphia-based Indie label, Earsnake Records.

As a live sound engineer, I’ve worked as the “house” sound man at Cecil’s Jazz Club, in its first 3 years. There I was able to design and tune a sound system that fit the needs of some the greatest jazz musicians in the world.

I also, occasionally do live sound at The Asbury Lanes. This venue has quickly becoming one of the great places to see live music in New Jersey’s Rock and Roll Capital City, Asbury Park.

As a songwriter, I’ve written and performed music for over 17 years. Bands that I’ve been in include Absence of God, Shmeg, Zelda Pinwheel (who’s music has been featured on MTV’s Real World), Touchy Feely, Big Finish, and Pidgin Droppings.
